Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 4, 2026 ยท Applies to the SWORN website, web app, and mobile app
The short version
SWORN verifies your workouts on video. Verification video is analyzed on your device โ pose estimation runs locally, and in the current release your camera feed is never uploaded to our servers. We collect the minimum needed to run your commitment contract: your account details, your schedule, verified rep counts, and your penalty/payout history. If you join the Creator Program, we only publish footage you've opted in to publish, with face blurring and anonymous handles applied when you enable them.
Camera & workout video
- The camera is used only during a check-in session you start, to count and verify your reps.
- Pose estimation (body landmark detection) runs on-device. Landmarks, angles, and rep counts are computed locally.
- In the current release, no video or images leave your device. Future releases that add server-side verification (identity and anti-replay checks) will state exactly what is uploaded, encrypt it in transit and at rest, and auto-delete verification copies after review.
- Creator Program publishing is opt-in per your settings. Ghost Mode applies automatic face blurring and replaces your handle with a sequential anonymous ID (e.g. USER 00412) on every published copy.
What we collect
- Account: name, email, and your signed contract terms (schedule, stake, term dates).
- Activity: verified session results (exercise, rep count, form score, timestamps) โ not the video itself.
- Financial: penalty charges and creator payouts are processed by a payment provider (e.g. Stripe); we never store full card numbers.
- Health profile (optional): fitness level and conditions you choose to share, used only to build your plan. Future integrations with health platforms are opt-in and covered by separate consent.
What we show publicly
The leaderboard displays your handle (or anonymous ID in Ghost Mode), streak, completion rate, penalties paid, and creator earnings. Verification videos are never public unless you've opted into the Creator Program.
What we never do
- Sell your personal data.
- Publish footage you didn't opt in to publish.
- Use your verification video to train models without separate, explicit consent.
Your rights
You can export or delete your data, unpublish creator content, or close your account (contract buyout terms are separate from data rights and are shown before signature). Contact: privacy@sworn.fit. Where GDPR/CCPA or similar laws apply, you have the rights those laws provide, including access, correction, deletion, and portability.
Children
SWORN is for users 18 and over. Commitment contracts require legal capacity to contract.
Changes
We'll post changes here and notify you in-app of material changes before they take effect.
